The hairdressing professionals at J Beverly Hills Salon felt the need to give back to their clients by offering a makeover and anonymously, a special guest was chosen due to her touching story.  Vanessa Ochoa is a current client who felt the need to nominate her dear friend, Sandy Chavez.  Vanessa explained that Sandy is a hard working High School Teacher who gives her 100% to her students and is passionate about teaching in our community. While working full time she is also in the process of finishing her master’s in education from UCLA and will graduate in 2011.  Sandy has a ton of things to balance in addition to being a great support system to her single mother.  Finally, Sandy is on a mission to become healthy and in shape as she has lost a considerable amount of weight and is still working hard to reach her goal. Vanessa felt it would be amazing if Sandy could get a makeover as a graduation gift since she needs it now more than ever, she just learned that like many other educators in California she is being cut from her school as a result of our budget crisis.
